The 12 hour humidity defense is a must for excess moisture in the air that can cause frizz & the produt has heat styling defense, so it protects & locks in needed moisture even after blow drying & flat ironing. A little bit goes a long way, so use only one pump for mid-length hair & apply when the hair is about 70% dry. Since it is not a straightening product, even those with curls can use it!"
